THE PARISH LUNCHEON WILL BE Sunday: June 4th 11:30 AM—in the Parish Hall Free of charge Menu includes: Fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, corn, green beans, roll and dessert. Come help us kick off Totus Tuus (a summer Religious Education program for our youth.)
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Volunteers are needed to help with the receptions for the upcoming ordinations at St. Mary’s Cathedral. The Diaconate ordination will be Saturday, May 27 at 10:00 AM. Matthew Nash will be ordained to the priesthood on Friday, June 9th at 6:00 PM. BCYC ENCOUNTER CONFERENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: This weekend conference is designed with the current high school student in mind. Unlike many other youth conferences today, Encounter encourages teens not only to sit and hear about their faith from great speakers but we invite them to come and experience Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. SPIRIT CATHOLIC RADIO DIAPER DRIVE—MAY 1-31 Help mothers and babies in need and put your faith in action. All sizes of diapers are needed, especially sizes 3, 4 & 5. GI drop-off locations: Spirit 91.5-FM studios at 828 North Diers Avenue and St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 2410 South Blaine. Benefitting various pregnancy centers and family resource centers in Grand Island.
GRIEFSHARE Have you or someone you know lost a loved one? Is the grief too much to bear alone? There is hope. Please join us in our weekly GriefShare support group meetings. This 13-week session is designed to help you journey through your grief with support from God and others. The support group will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 PM, May 3rd through July 26th. This is an open group so new members can join at any time. Donations can be made at your convenience from anywhere you have access to the Internet. It is important to understand this is only for contributions to the General Fund. The method in which you have chosen to make your For All Generations donations will not change.
