FAMILIES GROW VOCATIONS. Camps and Retreats. As our children get into middle school, introduce them to youth camps and retreats offered by your diocese. The Diocese of Grand Island offers a variety of experiences throughout the year: Going Bananas for Jesus (Middle/High School), TEC (High School), Higher Ground (Middle School, High School, and College retreats), Theology of Tap (Young Adults), and more. Young people need more and more integration of faith and life experience within a faith community. These experiences help young people to move beyond the family and parish experience of Church and to grow in their awareness that we are a universal Catholic Church.
NEW OPTION FOR GIVING: Beginning immediately, you now have the option to give online. Online giving allows you to make contributions to our church without writing checks or worrying about cash donations. Donations can be made at your convenience from anywhere you have access to the Internet. For more information and instructions on how to give online, go to the Church website www.giresurrection.com and click on Donate Online. It is important to understand this is only for contributions to the General Fund. The method in which you have chosen to make your For All Generations donations will not change.
Generous and loving God, you call us to be disciples of your Son Jesus and good stewards of all your many gifts. Open our minds and hearts to a greater awareness and deeper appreciation of your countless blessings. Transform us through the power of your Spirit to nurture a Stewardship way of life marked by faith-filled prayer, service to our neighbor and generous sharing. Teach us to be faithful servants of your gifts. With Mary’s help, may we return tenfold the gifts entrusted to us. We pray through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
