We are pleased that you have chosen to make Church of the Resurrection your parish home. Please feel free to introduce yourselves, or call our church secretary, Patricia Janulewicz, at 382-8644 M, T, F 8a-12p, to arrange to learn more about the services our parish provides, or ways that you can become involved.

PLEASE NOTE! Now that the parish Rummage Sale is over,
we are again gearing up for the Junk Jaunt. It is September 26th-28th, 2014. Please leave your items in the basement of the Church. We will be taking anything worth selling – gently-used clothing will also be accepted. We will have to have a lot of “Junk” to match last year! If you have items that you need help with, please call Norine Munoz at 381-8675. Also, if you would like to have a booth and sell your own items, we will again be doing this. More information will be coming as we get closer.

ATTENTION EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: You can pick up a copy of the guidelines for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion in the sacristy of the Church. This is a helpful pamphlet on the proper guidelines for this great ministry. Please stop by for your copy!

THE DIOCESAN ANNUAL APPEAL is now in full swing. Thanks to all who have made a pledge or gift!! We have reached $15,004.35 of our parish goal of $34,673.00. If you have not yet done so, you are invited to complete the envelope you received in the mail or there are extra envelopes on the tables in the back of the Church, and return it to us as soon as possible.

We are looking for people to keep our outside plants watered during the summer months. Please call Geri Zaruba at 308 583-6776 if you would be interested in this ministry. There will be no sign up for this event.

Our purpose is to storm heaven with prayers for any given cause. Anyone may request prayers for an illness, surgery, family problems, or any crisis. It is not restricted to Prayer Chain members. Members pay daily for all the requests. Anyone wishing to request prayers may contact Joyce Borgmann at If you would like to join the Prayer Chain and pray with the other members, please let Joyce know.

Please dress in a manner that respects the presence of those around you and that reflects the fact that we come together to worship and give thanks to our God and Savior.

Our Altar Society is collecting these UPC’s as a way to raise money and awareness of their project to dig wells in Third World Countries such as our twinning parish, Haiti, as water is a precious resource. Please save them and place them in the container provided in the church kitchen. This is a very easy and inexpensive way to help.
