ROSARY OFFERINGS: The rosary is said each Sunday at 8:00 AM for our “For All Generations” campaign and for all intentions of our parish family. Everyone welcome to come and pray.
DAILY ROSARY: The rosary is recited daily before the 7:00 AM Mass, around 6:30 AM. Everyone is welcome to come and start your day off with praying to Mary.

CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK’S DAY AT RESURRECTION! The Altar Society, along with the Liturgy Committee, will be hosting an evening of good food and fellowship along with a Lenten prayer and reflection on Monday, March 17th. Corn beef and cabbage, Irish stew, beer bread, dessert and beverages will be served at 6:30 PM. Guest Speaker, Lee Elliot (Wonderful Life Project) will provide us with some thoughts on forgiveness and mercy following the meal. A free will offering is asked to cover the food expenses. Sign up in the gathering area of the church if you plan to attend.
BABYSITTING WILL BE PROVIDED MARCH 17TH: Healthy snacks will be provided. A donation is asked to the babysitting and will go to our Young Neighbors in Action youth trip.
CRS RICE BOWL REFLECTION: KENYA This week, CRS Rice Bowl invites us to enter into solidarity with the people of Kenya. We are encouraged to reflect on the Catholic social teach principle, Sacredness and Dignity of the Human Person, and reminded that our inherent dignity comes from our creation as children of God and not from any of our own actions. Let us pray this week for our brothers and sisters in Kenya and all around the world, that we may respect and uphold the sacredness of life and dignity of all people.
CHAIR YOGA: We are excited to have started a Chair Yoga class here at Resurrection from 10:15 to 11:00 AM on Wednesday mornings. Chair Yoga is a stretching class that focuses on breathing, strength and balance. There are no exercises that will take place on the floor. Beginners welcome! Wear comfortable clothes and enjoy the class with Tracy Noble (from our parish) who is a Certified Silver Sneaker Instructor through the YMCA. The class will be held in the parish hall after Wednesday morning bible class. A free will donation is taken at each class with the proceeds going to the YMCA. GRAND ISLAND SERRA CLUB will be hosting a cheese enchilada dinner on Friday, March 14, at St. Mary’s Cathedral Square from 5:30-7:30 PM. The dinner consists of cheese enchiladas, beans, rice, chips, salsa and drinks. Cost is $7 for adults; $3.50 for kids 12 and under. Enchiladas can also be pre-ordered for $15 a dozen or $7.50 for a half dozen by calling Jeanette Nordhues at 384-2869. Take-out dinners available.
LECTORS & LITURGICAL MINISTERS: The yearly meeting and training session will be on Sunday, March 23rd at 5:00 PM in the Church. This is for all current ministers or anyone interested in becoming a lector or EM. This meeting will last less than an hour.
NEED YOUR HELP: We will be having a Fish Fry Fundraiser for St. Lucia on Saturday, May 3rd, along with an auction. It you have items you would like to donate to this auction, please call Mike Follmer at 384-6876. Fish will be provided by Ron Greenwalt.
CAN YOU HELP? We are looking for someone to be Eucharistic Minister for Tiffany Square. This is a commitment of only 5 Sundays a year. You are part of a team that ministers to the residents each Sunday. For more information, call Lisa Simonds at 383-5142.
NAMI CONNECTIONS SUPPORT GROUP MEETING – EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT! This is held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 5121 North Elm here in GI from 7:00-8:30 PM. This is a recovery support group for adults with mental illness regardless of their diagnosis. Let by trained individuals who are in recovery—people who understand the challenges we face. The group offers a casual environment without an educational format and there is no registration. Every group is offered free to charge. Everyone is welcome!! “We live in the shelter of each other”.
